Chiesa di Sant'Emerenziana
Almost two hundred years as a hermitage at the mouth of the Val di Tovel.

A Romanesque building of the 11th or 12th century, on an offshoot of monte Corno at the mouth of the Val di Tovel. It is believed to have been a staging house of the friars of Madonna di Campiglio, and for almost two hundred years it served as a hermitage. Sant'Emerenziana is the patron saint of the Val di Tovel.
By the end of the 15th century it was in poor condition: Mass was no longer celebrated there and the chapel's assets had been dispersed. In 1484 it was reported as almost in ruins, and the bishop's visitors informed Bishop Giovanni Hinderbach, who asked the sindaci to intervene; Marco Ognibeni had services resumed there.
Once the hermitage had been renovated, on 25 November 1558 Mariano Manno consecrated it, placing in the altar the relics of the holy martyrs Martirio, Sisinio and Alessandro and of Sant'Emerenziana.
