This page is for those who have to decide: a business weighing whether to join, a partner, someone assessing a funding application. No number on this page is written by hand. Our own figures are read by the site from the database every time the page is generated; those taken from others carry their source and date alongside.

These are the 2024 results of Booking Südtirol, the platform of the South Tyrolean hoteliers' association: around 2,580 properties, over 1.6 million overnight stays, and the largest share of bookings coming through channels that take no commission. The same idea as this project, measured by someone else.

That case proves one line out of five
It is the hardest part to believe, which is exactly why it is worth citing: a neighbouring Alpine territory has already taken the disintermediation of accommodation all the way to balance-sheet figures. But it is one line. Below are the others, each with its real status beside it, because ‘planned’ and ‘live’ are two different things.
Accommodation

This is the line the South Tyrolean case has already measured.
Products
LiveThe business’s own shop, stock kept on a ledger, shipping by weight band and checkout. The seller is the producer, we are the intermediary.

ActiveFilming and interviews with local businesses, produced by us. It is the only line that invoices during the free months, because it is a service and not a commission.
Market between businesses
In designBuyers and suppliers within the valleys find each other: accommodation, restaurants and bars buy every week from suppliers who are already listed here.

An empty territorial platform is of no use to anyone, and this one is not empty: the survey and the public registers of the Province are already on the page, one by one. These figures are read from the database while the page is being built.
