Chiesa di San Bartolomeo
The bell tower was blessed by a cardinal of Palermo, a son of Caldes.

A first place of worship dedicated to Saint Bartholomew is mentioned at Caldes from 1374: it stood in the village square and was demolished in 1848, but its bell tower is still there. In 1844 the Thun counts of Castel Caldes, Alessandro and his wife Maria Anna, née Spaur, donated the land for the new church, and the project went to Giacomo Moraglia of Milan: for this reason the building stands higher up than the old one.
The building site opened in 1850 and closed in 1852; the consecration was celebrated in 1865 and in 1919 the church became a parish church. The bell tower was completed only in 1946, and it was blessed, together with the organ, by Cardinal Ernesto Ruffini, Archbishop of Palermo: his mother was born in Caldes.
