Chiesa della Natività di San Giovanni Battista
In 1395 a man setting out for Jerusalem left it the oil for its lamp.

The first mention is in a will dated 23 February 1395: Nicolò Predacuca had it written before leaving on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, and he left a perpetual bequest of twelve measures of oil to light this church and the nearby monastery of Santa Maria Coronata. Those who set out for the Holy Land reckoned they might not return, and made provision.
The visitation of 1579 counts four altars but finds the building in poor repair, with no glass in the windows: the visitors ordered that the church be kept closed, leaving only one window open for passers-by, and that the graveyard be closed off so that animals could not enter. It became a curacy of the pieve of Denno in 1723.
The church's assets, which had grown with bequests from the faithful, were managed by a syndic elected each year by the wisest men of the village, who each year rendered account to the pievano of Denno.
