Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore
The village was divided over where to build it, then cholera arrived.

In the mid-nineteenth century the old church of San Lorenzo was no longer large enough for a population that had grown, and in 1855 the surveyor Giovanni Luigi Brugnara of Cles drew up a first design. The village, however, split: those from the lower part wanted the new church on the site of the old one, once demolished, while the others wanted it nearer the centre.
The cholera epidemic of that same year, 1855, made things worse, and the dispute was settled only by a compromise: to build it in a third location, on land donated by the brothers Giovanni Battista and Giuseppe Dalpiaz. Work began in 1859 and was completed in 1862, at a cost of 11,751 florins. The consecration came much later, on 11 August 1876.
