The sawmill of Molini di Malé was built in 1774 by the Zanini family and cut timber without interruption until 1978. It is a classic Venetian-style sawmill, the water-wheel model that spread across the Alps with the timber trade towards the Serenissima: here the wheel is small, 65 centimetres in diameter and one metre wide, and to turn it needs about 95 litres of water per second, taken from the watercourses alongside. Today it is working again and the Comune uses it as an educational trail on the old trades of the woodcutter and the sawyer and on wood turning.
