Rifugio La Montanara
On the Pradel plateau above Molveno, at the foot of the Croz dell'Altissimo and facing the Paganella.
The refuge stands on the Pradel plateau, in the municipality of Molveno, on the south-eastern slopes of the Croz dell'Altissimo, with the Paganella opposite. It is reached by the lifts that climb from Molveno in two stages, the first to Pradel and the second to the refuge, and you can also walk up from the village. It has welcomed guests since 1973. From the meadow in front of the refuge you can see the Campanile Basso in profile, and it is one of the points from which the spire looks most slender.
