Museo delle antiche attrezzature dei Vigili del fuoco volontari di Taio

For the 125th anniversary of the Taio station, the corps of Vigili del fuoco volontari has set up a small museum of its own history. On display, restored, are a Bohemian pump from 1898, operated by hand and mounted on a cart, and three Viennese pumps from the early twentieth century; then rope ladders, hydrants, nozzles with couplings in the Viennese style, hemp buckets, the pickaxe of the "bidello", the boy in uniform who ran through the village to alert the other firefighters, and the insignia from 1885, the complete uniforms with helmets, epaulettes and badges.
