Monte Rocca reaches 2,101 metres and lies in the southern part of the eastern chain of the Sottogruppo della Campa, in the Val di Non, within the territory of the Parco naturale Adamello Brenta. It is not an independent peak: it is a secondary buttress that branches off to the east from the Cima della Sporata and that, together with Monte Bedole, encloses the Valle del Goslada.

It belongs to the municipality of Sporminore and rises to the west of the village of Spormaggiore. You reach it by climbing from the Malga Vecchia, at 1,930 metres, and following the SAT paths 360 and 361.

Today in the valleys

Just a moment...

Gipthe bearded vulture of Valli del Noce

Hi, I am Gip. I am a bearded vulture: my species had vanished from the Alps in the 1930s, and the first one born in Trentino in at least a hundred and fifty years took flight from Val di Rabbi this past 16 July.

Ask me about places, the valleys or the people who work here. I answer with what is in our pages: if I do not know something, I will tell you.

Gip is an assistant based on artificial intelligence. It answers only with the verified facts in our pages. Your questions are processed by Anthropic, in the United States, and we do not keep them: do not write personal data. How we handle them.
