Malga Kraun
Alpine pasture malga at 1,218 metres above Mezzocorona, on the eastern side of the Cime di Vigo.
Malga Kraun is an alpine pasture malga at 1,218 metres in the territory of Mezzocorona, on the eastern side of the Cime di Vigo, and the provincial land register records it as an alpine refuge. You reach it from the locality of Monte, above the village, following forest track 507: in about an hour and a quarter you reach the hollow where the malga stands. The same route 507 also climbs from Roverè della Luna, through the Valle dei Ocheni and the Vilpùa rock wall. From the malga the SAT path O518 leads to Cima Roccapiana (1,873 m), the highest peak of the Cime di Vigo.
