Malga di Don
Malga owned by the Comune di Amblar-Don at 1,650 metres, at the foot of Monte Roen, already mentioned in 1771.
The Malga di Don, owned by the Comune di Amblar-Don, stands at 1,650 metres at the foot of Monte Roen, among woods and meadows, and the provincial land register records it as a bivouac. The first record dates from 1771, when the registers of Don called it "Manzara", also known as "malghetta"; a fire damaged it in 1847 and it was rebuilt the following year. Used until the beginning of the Second World War, it was then abandoned and lost the shingles and beams of its roof, until the Comune had it renovated between 1988 and 1990 as a rest stop for hikers. The SAT 537 path links it to the malga di Amblar, about a kilometre and a half away.
