Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta
Rebuilt in the sixteenth century on the model of the parish church of Cles.

The first official mention is said to refer to the consecration of the high altar, which took place in 1101. In 1128 the church is said to be named again in a parchment found in the church of San Biagio in Nanno, and in 1231 a third document speaks of the archipresbiter de Tasulle; an inventory of the goods held in the church dates from 1309. That this was an important pieve is also shown by the fact that Nanno and Portolo belonged to its ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
After some architectural restorations in the mid-fifteenth century, from 1513 the building was rebuilt on the model of the parish church of Cles: the apse and presbytery with the high altar were remade, the bell tower was begun, the nave was enlarged and the roofing was completed. The solemn consecration to Santa Maria Assunta was celebrated in 1558 by Mariano Manno, and the bell tower was finished soon afterwards.
In the seventeenth century the nave was enlarged again, an organ found a place in the new choir loft, the sacristy was built and the wooden pulpit was constructed. In the following century a clock was installed on the bell tower and the original organ was replaced.
