Chiesa di Sant'Agnese
The bells arrived before the bell tower, and stood in the middle of the village.

On the site of this church the first sacred building dated from the 15th century and was dedicated to San Rocco. In the 19th century the community needed a suitable church: building work began in 1837, finished four years later, and in 1850 the Bishop of Trento Giovanni Nepomuceno de Tschiderer consecrated it with a solemn ceremony. The decorations arrived soon afterwards, including a sundial painted on the south wall.
At the beginning of the 20th century the Chiappani foundry of Trento cast the five bells of the set, to replace those that a fire had destroyed a few years earlier in the old church of Sant'Agnese in Colle. It was decided not to take them back to the old building but to place them temporarily in the centre of the village, beside the new church: the bell tower would be built only in 1910.
In 1914 Metodio Ottolini decorated the façade and the interior with his mural paintings. The church was raised to parish status in 1921, gaining independence from the pieve of Taio, and in 1923 new bells had to be cast to replace those requisitioned by the Austrians during the war. In 1944 Ottolini resumed the work begun thirty years earlier, this time on the vaults of the apse area.
