Cemetery church of Tres, a hamlet of Predaia, first mentioned in 1307. A deed of 1411 records it together with the Regola of the community, with a double dedication to the Madonna and to Saint Agnes.

Some frescoed parts, in the nave and on the exterior walls, date from the mid-fifteenth century. Between 1475 and 1476 the building was restored and immediately afterwards enriched with a decorative cycle in the presbytery, in the apse, on the chancel arch and in part of the nave: in the twentieth century those frescoes were attributed to Battista and Giovanni Baschenis.

The sacristy and the bell tower date from the sixteenth century. In 1552 the church obtained the status of curacy and, in the same year, the custody of the Eucharist.

Today in the valleys

Just a moment...

Gipthe bearded vulture of Valli del Noce

Hi, I am Gip. I am a bearded vulture: my species had vanished from the Alps in the 1930s, and the first one born in Trentino in at least a hundred and fifty years took flight from Val di Rabbi this past 16 July.

Ask me about places, the valleys or the people who work here. I answer with what is in our pages: if I do not know something, I will tell you.

Gip is an assistant based on artificial intelligence. It answers only with the verified facts in our pages. Your questions are processed by Anthropic, in the United States, and we do not keep them: do not write personal data. How we handle them.
