Chiesa di San Pietro
The bell tower is older than the church beside it.

It is the oldest church in Mezzolombardo and was its parish church until the church of San Giovanni was built; today it is the cemetery church. It was built in the 12th century on a rise where archaeological traces from the Roman period have come to light.
In the 16th century it was rebuilt, and a date incised in the plaster of the apse, 1534, probably recalls that work; the consecration took place in 1558. The bell tower, however, bears another date, 1425, and almost certainly belongs to the original church: the bell tower has seen the building it accompanies collapse and rise again.
Inside, with a single nave, the monumental wooden high altar from the 17th century stands out, painted in blue and gold, with an altarpiece depicting the Madonna between Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
