Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista
A will of 1610 brought it into being, and in 1986 an avalanche struck it.

This church originated from a bequest: the testamentary instructions of Maria Rossi di Piano, dated 1610, established its construction at Mestriago and created the fund needed for the works. Building began within a very few years and the work was completed in 1617; in that same year the church was consecrated with a solemn ceremony by the suffragan bishop of Trento, Pietro Belli.
In 1722 a pastoral visit ordered the replacement of the flooring, and twenty years later attention turned to the decoration of the walls, which needed restoration. In the second half of the 19th century work was carried out twice on the roof covering, the first time for ordinary maintenance and the second to repair the damage caused by a fire. In the years immediately after the First World War the roof gave up wood for zinc, and almost in the same years the interior was decorated.
In 1986 an avalanche struck the building, damaging both the nave and the sacristy, and the necessary restoration was carried out over the two years 1987-1988.
