Chiesa di San Giacomo Maggiore
The village was called Solasna, and took its name from the saint of its church.

This church matters more than others to its village, because it gave the village its name: the hamlet was anciently called Solasna, and only later took the name of the saint to whom the church is dedicated. It is first mentioned in 1384, when it was a subsidiary of the pieve of Livo, that is, of the church of the Natività di Maria.
In 1515 the old building was rebuilt in the Gothic style, keeping the original bell tower, and before the end of the century the interior was frescoed: part of those paintings can still be seen near the chancel arch. The hall was enlarged in 1620, and around the same time the church became a curacy. In 1649 Bishop Jesse Perchoffer consecrated the side altars.
In 1708 the roof covering was redone, strengthening the structural stability of the vaults; in 1742 there was a further renovation, followed by the sacristy. The façade was rebuilt in 1821, but without touching the portal. The church was raised to parish status in 1960.
