Chiesa di San Cristoforo
Painted by the Baschenis, and in 1617 an order was given to cover everything.

The church of Ortisé was built in the fifteenth century and enriched with decorations attributed to Giovanni and Battista Baschenis, or to painters of their school, within the first decade of the sixteenth century. The solemn consecration was celebrated in 1503.
Those paintings had a short life. Around 1513 the interior was altered, with partial destruction of the frescoed parts and vaults rebuilt in the Gothic style, and the pastoral visit of 1617 ordered the wall paintings to be whitewashed. The bell tower was raised only in 1672, and in 1724 the church became a curacy of the pieve of Ossana, that is, of the church of San Vigilio.
In the second half of the nineteenth century a major intervention enlarged the hall by lengthening the nave, and the right and left side chapels were added. The church was raised to parish status on 10 May 1919.
