Known in the village as the church of the Madonna delle Grazie, it was consecrated in 1474 at the end of a radical restoration: the original building was already mentioned in a document of 1265, and traces of it can be recognised in a walled-up window on the east façade.
Between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries the presence of confraternities, such as that of the Battuti or Disciplini, brought Lombard craftsmen here. To them are owed the decoration of the right-hand vault, completed in 1545 by Rocco de Redis of Laino, and the porch, built in 1524 and finished being frescoed in 1533 by Simone Baschenis of Averara. A second consecration took place in 1617; in 1840 a fire damaged the building.
