The church of Bordiana was built in 1719.
It was damaged by the 1976 earthquake, the one that left its mark on more than one building in these valleys, and the restoration was completed by 1978. At Carciato the same quake forced the church to close for years, and at Spormaggiore its damage became part of a cycle of works that only ended after 2006: here two years were enough.
