A subsidiary church of Masi di Vigo, first mentioned in 1579, during the principality of Ludovico Madruzzo: the visitation records then credit it with a single altar. In 1655 the visitors authorised its lengthening and the building of the bell tower.
On 3 October 1734 it became a primissaria curata. That is, a benefice was established to support a priest for the morning mass, and it was the community that chose him, with the consent of the pievano of Vigo.
The works went on for a long time: in 1742 it is said to have been rebuilt again on part of the old demolished building, in 1751 the new wooden high altar was still without an altarpiece, and the date carved on the portal is 1780. The baptismal font arrived in 1839, the eucharistic tabernacle in 1864.
