Built in 1929 on the Noce Bianco, at the foot of the Ortles-Cevedale, the Pont power station is an example of 1920s industrial architecture, when the hydroelectric era began in the Val di Peio and throughout Trentino. From the outside it looks more like an alpine hotel than a production building, and the interior rooms are decorated in sgraffito; on the exterior wall of one of the buildings appears San Giovanni Nepomuceno, protector against floods, painted in 1930 by L. Carelli. It is still in operation and receives the waters that come down from the artificial lake of Careser, at over 2,600 metres, passing through the Malga Mare power station, and those of the Pian Palù reservoir on the Noce Nero.
