Bait del Germano
A refuge among the meadows of the Paganella plateau, with a view stretching from the Brenta to Lake Garda.
The Bait del Germano stands just below 1,800 metres, among meadows and woods on the Paganella plateau, above Andalo. The most convenient way to get there is the cable car from Andalo to Doss Pelà, followed by a forest road of about five and a half kilometres, almost flat: an hour and a half on foot, also suitable for trail pushchairs and bicycles. From the meadow in front of the refuge you can see the Brenta range and, to the south, as far as Lake Garda. Meals are served outdoors, there is a play area for children, and it is open more or less from June to September. To return you take the forest road again, or you can walk down towards Lake Molveno in about three hours.
