Vedetta Alta
Before the summit you pass over four other peaks.

The Vedetta Alta, called Hochwart in German, reaches 2,627 metres and belongs to the Catena delle Maddalene, on the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, between the Val di Non and the Val d'Ultimo. It is the highest peak of the side valley that climbs to the west of Proves.
Like the whole range, it is made up mostly of loose rock debris and ancient landslides now covered in grass, and from the summit, which stands out among an arc of lower mountains, the typical shape of the group is easy to read. Around it you can pick out, going anticlockwise from the north-east, the Monte Cornicolo, the Monte Cornicoletto, the Cima Belmonte, the Monte Korb and the Monte Ometto, whose slopes reach down to the village of Proves.
It is a destination visited by hikers of all abilities, but the circuit is not short: you start from the car park before the tunnels of Proves, pass the Malga di Cloz, the Malghetto di Cloz and the ruins of the Malga Belmonte, and you touch the peaks of the Cornicoletto, the Cornicolo, Belmonte and the Korb one after another before reaching the summit. Coming down through the centre of the valley, you close the loop by passing Malga Kessel and Malga di Revò.
