Cima Olmi
On the summit a wayside shrine reads "Regina delle vette proteggici".

Cima Olmi, also known as Monte degli Olmi and in German as Ilmenspitz, reaches 2,656 metres and belongs to the Catena delle Maddalene, in the southern Rhaetian Alps. It stands on the boundary between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, between the municipalities of Ultimo, Rumo and Rabbi, roughly in the central part of the chain, west of Proves, and separates the Valle di Non from the Val d'Ultimo.
It is the sixth highest peak of the group, preceded by Monte Mattonara, the central peak of the Binasie, Cima Stubele, Cima Tuatti and Punta di Quaira. On the summit there is a wayside shrine that holds a small statue of the Madonna, with the words Regina delle vette proteggici written above it; behind it stands the wooden summit cross.
The panorama is boundless. In detail you can see the whole Maddalene chain as far as Monte Luco, and then the Valle di Non with the lago di Santa Giustina at its centre, and the Val d'Ultimo with the Ortles-Cevedale group behind it, which extends westwards with Orecchia di Lepre, Gioveretto and Cima Sternai as far as Monte Cevedale and beyond; in the distance, behind the Roen group, you can make out the Dolomite peaks.
