Chiesa di San Giorgio
Fires in the village burned its written memory.

The first document attesting a church at Peio dates from 1380, with the appointment of a chaplain, and the scarcity of earlier records has a precise reason: the fires that several times destroyed the village also carried off its papers. In 1384 the church obtained the title of curacy.
On 14 February 1481, thanks to Bishop Giovanni Hinderbach, a baptismal font and a resident priest arrived, on condition that the people of Peio provided for his upkeep. Of the original building only one piece remains, the lintel of the old portal, later moved to the side, which bears the date 1252 carved into it.
